Alloy & Tyres

Please suggest me ideal upsize tyres fr VIVA CRDI. I am planning to upgrade it with 185/60 R14 with Aura or HR or Neo alloys. Will there be a mileage drop if i go for 195/60 R14? Is Aura better than Neo? or HR is better?

I checked with Dealer for new 14" tyres with buy back of old one, he his quoting around 10K is this a good deal? and for Alloy HR 19.5K and Aura 18K?

It will be great if you suggest me a good delars in bangalore?

I dont know the correct stock tyre size on the viva but I am sure its 14" and a profile of 80 or 75 so 185/60 R14 is a good upsize. 195/60 R14 would be broader but FE will drop. Aura and Neo are both good and reputed brands but Neo has nicer and wider range of designs.

I was about to suggest you to go to Authorised Aura Distributor for Bangalore. Their address was present at the Aura web site. Now Aura web site is directing you to some other chinese(?) site.
If you want I can search and find their address.I felt them to be more knowledgable than many of the shop guys on Mission road and JC road.

hey i think 175 is the stock tyre size on a viva, like that on an Ikon... 185's will do but for the extra grip you can go for 195's too...

@ 5u3zEr0 : now that he'll be putting alloys instead of stock steel rims... wont that compensate for the wider tyre and hence same mileage...
agree with you that Neo has nicer and wider range of designs as compared to Aura. But then i think you should get 5 Aura rims for 15k @ 3k/piece... 18k is a little more i guess.

I am feeling a slight wobling and it's is pulling towards left after installing new alloys with tyres. Dealer said that balancing is not proper and he did wheel balancing. Even then the problem is persisting a bit. I amsaying him to do wheel alingment, but he his saying that it is not required for new vehicle. Is this true?

SPathak from Bangalore also mentioned he had some trouble with League alloys on his Icon. Check with him.
