While you're at it, why not goin for 14" wheels. 195/60R14 will give you the best of both worlds. Good ride as well as good performance.

Have a look at Bridgestone Potenza GIIIs.

don't you think 60 profile will be a bit lower for comfortable ride?
imho, performance will increase with low profile tyre but at the cost of ride quality.

Nope, the Vtec shares the same suspension setup as the City 1.5 and any Vtec owner will tell you that it's the perfect size for that car.

My Vtec rides on 195/60R14 and the ride quality feels just right.

>>195/60R14

I have observed many postings that everyone is mentioning to 195/60 R14 for New Honda City than the original one 175/60 R14. Why can't honda only gives this by default then? is there any valid reason? One more thing if we use 195/60 R14 width of tyre will be longer by 20MM, will it effect body paint as more mud will be thrown back?

Thanks & Regards.

If you plan to go in for an upsize (which I doubt, since you already have a decent set of Honda wheels on the sports model) go in for 195/60/R14 I've beenusing them on my 1999 model car and they're perfect. If you'd prefer sticking to 13" rims then go in for 185/65/R13 size tyres. What brand you decide on depends on what is on ur priority list i.e. price...comfort....looks

Re: Tyres for Honda City

Guys,

I need to upgrade change the tyres on My 2002 OHC Vtec. I do not intend to change the stock wheels. Can someone suggest the options which I should look at. All I am looking for in the new tyres is comfortable ride.
