As of now the only available size in 15 inch is 205/65. Don't know if other sizes are coming up any time soon.

New sizes will be introduced in June or July when the factory starts up in Haryana. As of now, all the 4 sizes are being imported from The Philippines.

Anyone used the earth 1?? I'm planning to change all 4 tyres of my indica vista quaadrajet? It is currently running on A drives. Would the earth 1 be an upgrade???

A drive to earth 1 would be a downgrade. If you want an upgrade look at options from michelin.

Someone used these tires and ended upside down.

I think Yokohoma website says both these tires have similar performance ratings. Both are entry level tires .

I also havent mentioned that the tires were the cause for this crash . One of the posts does say that the car didnt behave the way it usually did after changing tires .

Based on the analysis to date, the Earth 1's were not the issue.

As far as I had them, they proved to be good - strong, silent and grippy. Ashwin at Sai Iyengar recommends them over the C Drives which will likely be updated soon

I am using them on Honda City for past two months now. They are good with no issues at all. However, the higher tyre pressure make the car behave bit funny.

All I meant to say was your comment sounded like a off the handle remark - "Someone used these tyres and ended up upside down"
Anyone looking to consider them as the next pair of shoes would scurry off just reading that statement

Re: Yokohama launching Earth-1 Tyres (designed for India)

^^There seems to be quite some confusion regarding the Earth-1. I am pretty sure that it would be better than the A drive.

Actually , last week when I was looking to upgrade my OE tires , I was looking at the Earth 1 as well. This thread made me opt for XM2s

Also the Yoko website comparison hints at the A drive and the E1 tires having similar performance.
