Re: Honda Brio : Tyre & wheel upgrade thread

Apologies for the delayed reply. I got it done and it works like a charm.
Headlights got the Osram LED HL Premium fitted. Tried Philips and a Chinese one finally decided on the Osram one.

For the fog lamp when for the Chinese one, which has 2 colors Yellow and White light.

Recently upgraded to Yokohama Earth 1s (185/65/14R) on my 2014 base model Brio, as well. This thread has been extremely helpful in reaching that decision, as all the archives here are for fellow enthusiasts.

The NVH levels have definitely improved after the switch from my worn-out stock tyres. It's been a couple of months since I upgraded the tyres, and the ride quality has improved a fair bit. I used to face the common issue of a thud sound over bumps, which I assumed was due to faulty struts or other suspension components, but the tyre upgrade completely eliminated the issue. Road noise has significantly dipped, as well. I might still go for a front suspension upgrade in the near future, but will certainly recommend the Yokohama E1s.

Got the upgrade from BK Tyres, New Delhi. Got new 2023 tyres for 19k (4 units).

Re: Honda Brio : Tyre & wheel upgrade thread

I own a 2013 Brio S MT. The car has run 38k kms. The car is running on stock tyres MRF ZVT 175/65 R14.

Couple of stock tyres are worn out. Hence, I am now thinking to replace all 4.

Usage of this car is very very low (~50kms/month), and only within the city limits, as I use my Vento TSI for highways.

As this car is used only in city (Bengaluru), I prefer to have the new tyres with more COMFORT but not at the cost of handling, FE. So, should I go with:
1. Same size tyres? If so, which brand and model?
2. Upgrade to 185/65 R14? If so, which brand and model?

Kindly advise. Thank you.

Since your usage is very less, no need to upsize to 185, stick to the same stock size.

Since comfort is your priority, I suggest to get the Continental Comfort Contact CC6 tyres.
