Ford Fiesta - Alloy Wheels

Hi,

Planning to change to Alloy Wheels for my 6 month old Platinum Colour Ford Fiesta 1.4 TDCi ZXi. Budget ~ Rs. 15 K. Want to retain standard 14' wheel size and OEM tyres MRF ZVTS 175/65R tubeless tyres.

Want assistance with the following information

1. Best Make - Indian and Imported.
2. Best suited Finish - Painted Silver, Hyper Silver, Black Machined, Hi Tone Machined, Chrome, any other ? Which has the best ease of maintanence
3. PCD and Offset for Ford Fiesta
4. Alloy wheel dealer in Bangalore. Any feedback on Car N Style off JC Road ?

Plan to buy in the next 4-5 days.

So why are you not going for the original equipment alloys used on the SXI especially if you are sticking to 14 inchers?

@ronick - check that it won't foul with the body.
Also, it will give a good handling but ride will be BAD!

Ford has changed the alloys that come with the sxi since March. They look good, according to me---you can take a look at my car. Only drawback is that they cost 22.3 K for a set of 4. They are made by Hindalco.

if you want to retain the stock tires you would need to go with R14 rims and your choice is limited.

I recently upgraded my rims and went Plati, it cost me 18 k in all for a set of five - 16.5 k for the alloys - ~1k for special wheel nuts - .5k for fitting and wheel balancing.

15" will look good, handle better.Ride quality will take a hit.Best to stick to 14"-quite a lot of choices are available for alloys.
