Hi All,
Recently came across the first portal for ordering Tyres for India - this is called "Change My Tyre" and the url is
Indias's First Online Tyre Store :: ChangeMyTyre.com
(I have no affiliation to this)
They are testing their website in Beta mode and should be starting full fledged operations in a short while. You can refer to the website for general comparisons on the tyre range and the prices. Hopefully it should be starting soon and we will be able to do competitive sourcing for our tyres online!

Hi All,
Just a quick update from my side on the Tyres on my Skoda Yeti. I ordered new Yokohama C-drive tyres in the stock size of 215/60 R16 from the same portal
ChangeMyTyre.com :: India's First Online Tyre Store and became one of their initial customers since their launch on May 4th. The reason why I opted for this option:
1) I had seen the Yokohama C-Drive tyres a long time back (around 6 months) but at that time, thought it was a little early to change my tyres on the Yeti as they had covered only 18K Kms at that time. Now when I went to the same outlet, they said these tyres had been phased out and are no longer available.
When I searched on CMT, I was able to find them and took the plunge.
2) CMT has a model where 10% of the payment has to be paid upfront and balance at the time of fitment in their fitment centre. So this reduces the risk and one can physically see the tyres before the fitment and then make the payment.
3) The price which I was getting was also good Rs 8730 per tyre and plus I got 4K back for the Continental spare which I swapped. The prices for the tyres are quite competitive and in most tyres I found them to be lower than the market price which I could find in nearby stores.
Overall a satisfying experience and I would certainly recommend CMT to all people in NCR looking for a change of tyres - they are having quite a lot of options from almost all manufacturers and can arrange tyres which are normally quite difficult to get the in the local tyre stores. CMT is currently having fitment centres in Faridabad, Gurgaon, Ghaziabad, New Delhi and Noida and they are planning to expand soon to other cities - Bangalore , Mumbai and Pune (If I recall, as per my discussion with the Area manager of CMT who I was speaking to).
(PS: I have no commercial affiliation with CMT and am sharing my experience purely on the basis of my changing my Skoda Yeti tyres through them!)
Best Regards,
Behemoth
I also noticed an online ad for changemytyre.com and was checking the prices of tyres.
For my santro, 165/65 R13, I was looking for Bridgestone Turanza ER60 & Michelin XM2 as options, and to my surprise both the options are available and also quite aggressively priced.
Plus they also have an option to get fitting in NCR region.
I just changed my car tyres upgraded to Michelin XM1+ as the dealer didnt had XM2, I had to settle for XM1+.
Definitely, will try for next set of rubbers from these guys.
Hi I am looking for wheels to for my classic 1972 Buick LeSabre . I trying to give it a bit pimped out look , well a bit decent one. The car should look cool , decent and not too much flashy. I haven't come across any online site in India which deals in Imported ones , Indian wheels does not even come close to what I have in mind. Can anyone help me out here.

Hi,
I was checking tyre prices on Snapdeal and found this excellent offer of 40% off. Attached snapshot has the promo code and other details.
This can be useful for many Team-BHP members. I have ordered Michelin Energy XM2 tyres (185/65/R15) for my Honda City iVtec.
Actual price for 4 Tyres- Rs.23154
Discounted Price - Rs. 13615, that comes out to Rs. 3403 per tyre.
I have verified this price at the local store, its around 5500 per tyre.
I am no way related to Snapdeal, just sharing for the benefit of members.

Do we know the manufacturing year of the tyres that are being sold ?
I am planning to replace the tyres on my swift in JUNE, I wouldn't mind replacing them right away, looking at this deal.
I tried to use FLAT 40 coupon code, I got the error message " This promo code is not supposed to be used manually"
Most likely an error from SnapDeal!
Let's wait to see if the order materialises.
I tried to place an order and while applying the coupon "FLAT40", I get the message "This promo code is not supposed to be used manually".

Yes, they seem to have caught the bug. The 10% off promo is still valid though.
Even with that, buying tyres on snapdeal is cheaper.
Aw shucks,

Here are the updates, Snapdeal cancelled the order. As per them, it was technical issue because of which I got 40% discount. They will not honour the order :(

I was looking for XUV tires and price mentioned on this site is way better than changemytyre. Has anyone used this site? If so, please advice if they are good.
