Appreciate that I'm bumping up an old post from a few years ago, but looking forward to hearing your views, thanks!
FE reduced slightly by 0.5 kmpl, no difference felt in torque output, steering got heavier and more direct, speedo reading reduced (by 2 - 4 kmph or so). Body roll and braking distance, I didn't find any remarkable change.

Re: Maruti Ciaz : Tyre & wheel upgrade thread

Hi guys,
Been using 195/60 R16 Ceat Securadrive on my Ciaz ZDi+ for the last 3 years or so. It's done 1,22,000 kms.

The car when purchased new in November 2015, I had the urge to install 205/55 R16 just for the looks and increased GC.
However, ride was pretty choppy. Crashed in every pothole. Had to change those in about 20k kms. So glad we did.

Since, then had changed tires once in between and now I again I feel it's time for replacement.

So, 195/60 R16. Good combination for city and highways. We do quite a lot of highway runs and high-speed stability is pretty satisfactory.
