Re: Bridgestone launches Potenza S001 and Turanza T001 in India

This hideous piece of metal got embedded in the tyre on my way to work deflating the front left tyre completely. The sight of the lifeless tyre was pathetic and car looked crippled with it tilting towards the front left. Had to use the stepney which was never used for the last 6 years. Got the tyre repaired using a mushroom type patch. There was no damage to the sidewall even though it seems I had driven the car on a complete flat for a certain distance. Will observe the tyre for ab-normalties. The T 001 meanwhile have completed around 16k kms.

Got the TuranzaT001 in 195/60/R16 Size for my 2018 Hyundai Verna @ INR 6550 per tyre. Fitting & alligment was complimentary, but was charged INR280 seperately for the balancing weights. Drove back home on a longer route in heavy rains. Initial impression of the tyres is much better to the OEM Bridgestone Ecopia's. Shall reserve my feedback till i drive approx. 2k kms on these tyres.

Dear Gollabhat,

Kindly let us know your valuable inputs on your Turanza T001 195/60R16.
I've ordered the same tyres for Rs.7700/tyre today.
