Suzuki Swift tyre sizi

I have just purchased a Suzuki Swift 1500 auto (Japanese make). I am delighted with it except for its very low ground clearance (145 mm) for Sri Lankan road conditions. The factory-fitted tyre size is 185-60-15 with alloy wheels. If I change the tyre size to 185-65-15 I will get about an extra one inch on the ground clearance which makes a big difference for most condtions.
I know that this will have a marginal effect on the odometer reading and possibly kilometres per litre of fuel consumption. It will also cost me some money to buy new tyres and trade in the originals which have done just about 200 kiliometres.
My quesation is can there be a significant disadvantage in changing from 60% to 65% profile?

Ground clearance will increase by 9mm.....How did u calculate to get around 1inch??
I would suggest 195/60-15

no.. but u gotto check if the tires would rub on the fender while turning and might scrape when car is loaded.

please check what yee_ha has mentioned. Common problem faced and my colleagues car also had the same problem.
185/65R15 is the right upsize for the Indian Swift... I dont know if your swift has the same suspension / dimensions. In India the Swift comes with 165/80R14 tyres and hence 185/70R14, 185/65R15, 196/60R15 are all correct upsizes
