That is a great price for a fantastic tyre. Another one to consider is 225/45/R17. It is standard fit, if upgraded tyre, for Jetta and Octavia. I have it my Jetta - and one of the reasons keeping the itch to upgrade to BMW 330i Sport away

Re: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 officially launched in India!

20 Inch wheels were a tad too comfortable for me so downsized to 19 Inch BMW OEM Forged -M wheels with PS4S tyres. I got it yesterday and the initial feedback is WOW!

I hope, can take my car outside of NCR now.

I went with Stock size in 19 Inch- 255/35 R 19 in front and 275/35 R 19 in the rear.

Ride is far better and so is overall handling. It is due quality of the tyre. Except for track, which I don't go, this is a better size. Even though I had more flamboyant wheels before, the fresh ones looks better despite very plain.

It looks like 205/50 R16 profile tyres are not available anymore. I don't seem them on Michelin India portal.

Does anyone know the reason?

Strange are the ways that Michelin India operates .

Till a few weeks back, they offered the PS4 in only 205/50/16 and now they have dropped this size altogether from their entire lineup, and instead now offering 205/55/16 in both PS4 & P4ST .

Is this a permanent strategic portfolio rejig or a knee-jerk reaction from the recent import licensing rules? Anyways, superb news for Octavia & Jetta owners who used to curse Michelin earlier.

Re: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 officially launched in India!

Hi Everyone,
I had recently replaced the stock Goodyear Assurance Tyres (195/55/R16) on my i20 (2016) with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 (205/50/R16) recently.

Wanted to double check, what Tyre Pressure should be maintained?
The user manual says 33 front, and 31 rear (when having no rear seat passengers, which is the usual scenario for me).

Planning to get new tyres for my Octavia and figured out both Primacy 4 and Pilot Sport are in stock for 205/55/R16. Now I’m confused between the two. Any recommendations?

Eyes closed PS4 for the Octavia. They deserve each other.

How long do the PS4s last in general compared to P4STs ?

My P3STs lasted for nearly 55K and are due for change.

Thanks! Apart from the road grip, how's the comfort and noise level of the PS4?

Re: Michelin Pilot Sport 4 officially launched in India!

Did anyone manage to purchase 2020 Michelin Pilot Sport 4 in the last two weeks in Bengaluru?

I have tried several dealers, but they have a few left over 2019 stock.

I could not even get any Michelin Energy tyres. The government ban has created a shortage
