Let of give you a good piece of advice. Yes, it comes from both; ie.. Hearsay and experience.
Don't put a 100PCD alloy on a Fiat Palio.
No matter what adapter/adjustments you may find. It is very much looking for trouble.
There maybe some who have succeeded in this but I consider it to be a nightmare. And a very big one too.

Another thing is that you have to be very careful with a 15" set in a Palio. It touches the wheelwell when you have some weight in the car. Or you'll have to run on some very low profile tires.

How about a set of 195X60R14's (PP2) on a Palio? Will it touch the Mud-guard? (or side wall?) Especially on uneven roads at higher speeds (120-130 kmph)?

Please search the forum in Alloys and Tyres Section thoroughly . I remember to have read that there is one brand which comes with a 98pcd 15'' alloy and have been upgraded from a fellow BHPian's Palio. He has used the low profile tires(55 i believe) so that it does not affect the performance or scrap the fender. good luck for your search

Guys,

Sorry for opening old thread. One of my friends wants to get alloys fitted for his Palio 1.2 Sport (pre NV 2002 model) So he is looking for a R13 Alloy wheel in Bangalore. I believe car needs 98 PCD alloys. Kindly confirm.

Any pointers for buying the 98 PCD 13" alloys in Bangalore?

Aura and Neo makes 98 PCD in India. There are imported wheel by HR and Evo also available. Check in Hot Tracks. He has some designs in 14" and 15". Not sure of 13". But give it a try.

I recently saw an AD in zigwheels, 'chameleon alloy wheels' 98 pcd specifically for Palios. I shall try to get hold of their contact details. Else you could find some Auras lying unsold in the stock, as they dont manufacture anymore.

Thanks TomRider. I shall contact Anil.

thanks s3va, I too had posted about the chameleon here, http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/test-d...ml#post1886152 The ad was for FIAT Punto not Palio i guess. So we get only 14" alloys from them. But Palio needs 13" alloys

People,
Any other pointers?

You can easily fit 14" wheels on a Palio. Classic 1 upsize, but yes, you will need new tyres as well. Expect better handling at the cost of firmer ride quality.

Re: Suggestion/Solutions 98 PCD Alloy wheels for FIAT(Palio, Adventure)

Sorry to bump into an older thread.

I need 14 inch 98 PCD alloys for my Palio SDX 2010. I have heard and read various times that 98 PCD is difficult to find. Is it still the same? Where in Bnagalore can I get them? I know of a couple of BHPians getting HRS and Velachie alloys for their Palios recently, not in Bangalore though.

Any pointers would be of great help.

Get in touch with Satya(EVO, Bangalore) - IIRC he has a set of 98PCD BSA alloys on sale.

Aura has 98 pcd alloys - you also search at sai mag wheels.

^ Been to Evos and met Satya. Got a quote for the music system. He doesnt have any 98 PCD alloys. He said he will check with other sources and get back to me.

Re: Suggestion/Solutions 98 PCD Alloy wheels for FIAT(Palio, Adventure)

Hi.
The status seems similar - no 98 PCD alloys visible. In fact got a reply from Prestige (indiaalloaywheels.com) stating this "As we don't have the material in 98pcd as we update the palio car with 100pcd only and use special bolts for it"

I am thinking of shifting to 14" alloys + tyres for comfort.

Now what...any recent experiences?
Thanks in advance.

Re: Suggestion/Solutions 98 PCD Alloy wheels for FIAT(Palio, Adventure)

Hi
I got a quote for 15,500 for a set of 5 HR Alloys (14" 98 PCD). Is this reasonable?
Anything I should I be looking out for?
And any suggestions of color/finish for my Gold colored Palio?
Thanks.

Re: Suggestion/Solutions 98 PCD Alloy wheels for FIAT(Palio, Adventure)

I was running 100pcd without any issues. I used some bolts with a tapered seat. Something like the wobble bolts in this link..

These bolts feature a floating conical seat collar that allows movement up to 3mm of a wheel's PDC,
