Laura alloys problem - easily damaged

I have a skoda laura which is 6 months old. During this period I have had two problems with the alloy rims. Both times, the edge of a rim has got bent, and on both occasions the car has not suffered a big pothole or run against a curb. I had the affected rim replaced the first time but finding it expensive to do it again.

Has anyone else experienced the same problem with their vehicle. Also if anyone else has any suggestions. Thanks

Are there the OEM alloys or you have changed/upsized them. It would be easier to know the cause i you can post a picture of the damaged rim

Mojo,

Do post a picture of the damaged rims.
Are you the only person who drives the car? Its fairly hard to damage an alloy rim without significant impact....

Are you running sufficient tyre pressure as well?
