Hi Chetu,

Very nice alloys. Is it the titanium finish? I think it would look much better if you lowered the profile a bit and increased the size of the rims to 15" or 16". But either ways, very nice.

Could be brake dust....get the Armour-All alloy cleaner. Should do the trick.

I checked the pressure maintaining 29psi. Now my ride is smooth compared to earlier. But looks like some kind of wobling appears.

Is all 4 wheels needs to be balanced once we fit new alloys? Right now the dealer has done only front 2 wheels.

shampoo the rims and for grease and tar use a mic of diesel and water to soak and then shampoo off.

front wheels balancing is must but 4wheels also recommended since this will enhance your suspension components life especially for cars with independent and semi independent rear suspension. Fixed axle cars can ignore rear wheel balancing.

@jaggu

My drive is bumpy after fitting new tyres and alloys is that b'coz of not doing balancing of rear tyres?

Get the balancing done. You got to do this first. Again at what speed does this wobble ? Is it constant at all speeds ?

is it wobble or bumpy?

Swift is a bouncy car and bounce is very relative to OE tyres VS Upgrade and only way out is air pressure to find a ideal for your personal taste.

Wobble check wheel balancing, then see if the PCD of alloy is within limit.

29 psi for petrol car sounds ok pressure, again ensure you use a proper tyre guage and dont go by roadside tyre wallah reading.

Its bumpy, the pcd of the wheels are fine its multi pcd 100-114.3. I use the check the pressure in shell petrol bunk. Is there any probs to cause bumpy ride?

i think ur gauge is aok, might be the lower profiles along with bangalore road thats the culprit.

is it very bad from the OE spec tyres, the ride comfort? Funny aditya also mentioned bumpy ride yday. Is 15 inch too much to ask for in Bangalore roads :(

Try lowering to 28 psi all around and see, below this reading might compromise on tyre wear and FE i feel.
