Very True! I never mentioned about the PCD - i know he is running alooys with 100 PCD without any problems.

But IMO 205 is a bit more than required for the palio in 15 inchers.

You just got lucky, mr.blackybx.
There's this brand called EVO thats got alloys with 98 PCD.

The models available with the 98 PCD are:
In 15" : 5271, 5242
In 14" : 5662, 5242 (two colours: black + white)

There's no website to check the models out.
So, speak to guy who's distributing them.

Where you able to check with him.Is 98 PCD available for 14" wheels?

Guys i own a palio 1.1 stile furnace red and i'm looking for upgrading my stock wheels to a black alloy wheels of 14" and saw the same model which i had in mind in evo alloys website.
Can any one from coimbatore tell me where i can get the wheels of my interest?
And one more question what exactly is the problem in putting a 100 PCD here with due modification (again i don't know what exactly to be done here,i'm just guessing). Can someone explain

Hey I didn't update, I happend to check with a local wheel care guy and he claimed that woble in my car was due to worn out tyres.

I brought new shoes(Bridgestone 175/65 R14 @ 3950 per tyre) for my "Lady In Red"

My car doesn't woble anymore so I droped my plan of new wheels and never contacted the person metioned above.

PCD is the diameter of the circle(whose center is the center of the wheel) on which "center of the screws" lies.

For 98PCD wheels screws are more closer to the center of the wheel.

So obviously if you need to use 100PCD wheels one may need to drill or change the position of the screw grooves on wheel mounts. Hope I am clear

Conclusion: not to go for 100PCD wheels, atleast I wont take a chance of modifying wheel mounts.

Palio User Group (PUG India) has lot of discussion regarding availability of alloys with 98 pcd. A couple of days back I saw some threads mentioning the availability of original alloys at Mumbai. If I remember right, the name of the dealer is Kava Automobiles. You may please read the details in Yahoo! Groups or thereabout. The price quoted was between Rs. 2500 to Rs. 3500 per piece.

Thanks.

HI Prancing Horse, did you get your alloys? I got a set of 14" 98 PCD for my MJD from RM Car Decors in Coimbatore. Let me know if you need any information.

HI amarprusty, there are numerous brands that are available. You need to narrow down based on your taste. Be ready to shell out 14k and above for a set of 4 14" wheels. Make sure you stick to 98 PCD.

Pictures of my MJD with its alloys are in here:
