I have been facing a problem with TPMS in my brand new Tucson. While taking the delivery, one of the tyres had low pressure and the dealer delivered it by inflating the tire. However overnight pressure became 15 and I repaired the puncture. On 1 day old car, I did not want a punctured tire and asked the dealer to replace with the full size spare wheel provided. However after that, it always gives me low pressure notifications although pressure is perfectly fine. Called up dealer, explained problem to him and the workshop manager called. I was told it takes 25 km of run after tire replacement and it will be fine. It has been over 200 km and the situation is the same. Every time I enter the car, or drive it, I keep on getting irritating notifications. Dealer has been dilly dallying for the last 2 weeks saying he will send technical experts to fix it.

Anyone faced this problem please. Appreciate in advance. If I am not putting this post at right place, request mods to merge accordingly. Thanks.

Similar problems have been faced in the new i20s (having 52933-C1100 sensor). The work around is to inflate the problem tyre to about 40+ psi and drive for few kms. The warning should stop and you then bleed air to the right pressure

My Nexon has this issue where it shows the tire pressure is low but when checked with a gauge the readings are normal.

I have seen that when we pump air a bit in such times (in my case using a air pump I bought off of online) it kind of resets that tpms sensor and the error goes away.

It comes back when that wheel goes over a hard bump or when that wheel has been sitting without moving for more than 24 hours.
