Re: Kia Seltos - Tyre & wheel upgrade thread

BHP'ians, could someone suggest a good tire place to shop for Yoko's or Michelin for Seltos in and around the E-City area, Bangalore?

Thanks in advance!

I would recommend Madhus Tyre Centre Wilson Garden especially for Yokohama or Michelin Tyres.

Even though its a bit far from Electronic City, it is worth it.

Sincerely,

Re: Kia Seltos - Tyre & wheel upgrade thread

Hi,
Looking for a new set of tyres for seltos GTX - stock is 215/60 R17. I want to upsize to 235/55 R17... Confused between the continental SC5 and the Bridgestone turanza 6i! What do you guys think is the better option? Not going for the Michelin as it's even more expensive and doesn't get unconditional warranty.

Re: Kia Seltos - Tyre & wheel upgrade thread

Hello fellow bhpians! I have recently acquired a Seltos 2022 x-line with 44k on the odo. As an upgrade from my 2012 Swift, boy is it something!

Right now the tyres on the car seem almost chewed up. The previous owner has driven it hard

I’m looking at a couple of issues:

1. The TPMS is driving me crazy with constant low pressure warnings! This, despite repeated visits to fill air from different stations. Is there any solution?
2. I need new tyres, conflicted between Michelin and Continental, of course, but first I need a reliable vendor in south Delhi with stocks. Any recommendations on tyre hookups?

Please help me with your kind wisdom! As a happy new owner I’d love to give my car some new shoes.

Congratulations on the new acquisition. If you can source the latest manufactured Michelin tires, they'll be the best option, but on the other hand, Continental isn't a bad idea at all.

At the end, it all depends upon your budget and requirements. You can contact BK Tyre Lajpat Nagar.

P.S. - I don't have any affiliation with them.

Superb! Thank you so much for your wishes and your reply. I’m already in touch with BK, so I’ll just take the conversation forward.

Cheers and happy motoring!
