How has your experience been with these so far? Specifically, the difference on highways and off-road places compared to Ecopia.
I have the same model as yours and it came with Ecopia. I've had a good experience with Ecopia so far with 99% of my usage being on the highways. Recently, I travelled to Lahaul and found myself lacking confidence to go further into the treacherous terrain of Zanskar. The current set still has another 8-9k kms left and I will be upgrading to A/T (before my next trip to Ladakh region). Will most probably go with upsizing to 255/55 R18 or 255/60 R18.
Thanks Appy_Wanderlust pn the update. My XUV700 has just completed 51000 on ecopia 850 and I am looking for a replacement. It looks like Bridgestone is the only one having AT tyres in this size. Very keen to know if you noticed any difference in NVH, grippiness etc with your AT Bridgestones vs previous OEM tyres. Let me know your thoughts on whether you feel this is a worthy upgrade. Thanks!
Bridgestone Turanza 6i is marketed as a quite and soft riding tyre.
Anyone using it on the XUV700?
What about Bridgestone Alenza 001?
HI Guys
Went for my PDI of XUV700 AX7L D At yesterday. Surprised to see Good year Efficient Grip performance tyres on my XUV
Anyone has had any experience with these ? How are these tyres compared to MRF ones or Bridgestone Ecopia which come on other XUVs
Dealer says these are one of the best tyres around. I am a bit skeptical to believe it and hence expert views will be appreciated

I think they are H/T tires and cheaper in terms of price as compared to MRF or Bridgestone when checked online. They must be H rated tires I believe - they are descent ones, comparable to MRF Wanderer EcoStreet. In the stock segment - I personally think BS Ecopia are the ideal ones to have. Ecopia are the long lasting, grippier and comparatively silent. The Goodyear should also be grippy but not sure if they are silent.
Finally Switched to All-Terrain Tires on my XUV700 AWD
After clocking 58000 KMs on my OEM tires, I was in need of a new set of tires as the OEM tires had started losing traction and I was getting frequent punctures.
As advised in the thread, I opted for
Bridgestone Dueler AT, which seems to be the only option available in the market for the 235/60 R18 size.
Driving 1000 KMs on this, here are my initial impressions :
- Right from the start, I noticed a significant improvement in comfort. The Bridgestone DUELER AT tires handle potholes more smoothly, absorbing impacts better than the OEM tires.
Surprisingly, the AT tires were quieter than expected even on the Yamuna Expressway—a cemented road notorious for tire noise.
- I went through some slushy patches, and the grip was notably better. My previous tires occasionally struggled with traction in mud often leading to wheel spin.
- Besides the improved grip and comfort, these tires give the XUV700 a more aggressive look (see pic) —a nice bonus for anyone who values the appearance.
- I highly recommend the Bridgestone DUELER AT for anyone driving an AWD vehicle and considering a tire change.

Your post is very helpful. I will be getting my AWD next week, the stock tyres are Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance. I want to upgrade to A/T tyres with Duelers being the only option. Since you have experienced them a fair bit, i have a few queries you can help with:
1. Is there any noticeable increased resistance during pick up compared to the stock H/T tyres? Do they feel heavier?
2. How is the braking, especially in wet conditions? ATs are known to be lesser effective. Being from Mumbai, any monsoon drive to the outskirts will need a good braking performance.
3. Any difference in cornering/handling at higher speeds?
Thanks in advance!
Hi @adeshgunjan, congratulations on getting your XUV!
Here are your answers:
1. I haven’t noticed any significant resistance; the pick-up feels similar.
2. Braking has improved. My previous H/T tires had started losing traction. While H/T tires should theoretically handle aquaplaning better, I haven’t had the chance to compare them directly. However, for muddy conditions, A/T tires are much better.
3. Cornering at high speeds used to cause some squeaking with the OEM tires, but that’s no longer an issue.
I spoke to a Bridgestone official dealer who gave me a price of Rs.17000 for the Dueler A/T. For my new OEM tyres Goodyear EfficientGrip Performance he is offering Rs. 5500 per tyre. What do you guys think of the deal? Is this a standard/or somewhere around it?
I bought the Dueler A/T tires for around ₹14.5K each from a Bridgestone-Select dealer. If you're planning to sell your OEM tires, consider posting on XUV forums. You might find XUV owners looking for replacements who are willing to pay a better price. The market price for these OEM tires seems to be around 12K each.

Thanks for sharing the review. Can you also comment on any change in fuel efficiency in comparison with the H/T tires?
I am in market for replacing my stock Bridgestone Ecopia 850 tires, which are nearing the tread depth of ~3mm. They lasted for around 36K kms.

Folks any input around the Good Years? hows their comfort and noise performance? I mainly need HT tires and noise is the criteria for me.

In my total 1000 kms experience, which includes an expressway trip from Mumbai to Pune and back of around 300 kms, I found the tyres quite good. Noise was controlled (expressway is concrete) and the ride was fairly smooth. Did not feel any lack of control on maneuvering at high speeds (90-100 in my case). The condition for reference were dry with no rain.
See, these are decent tyres as far as a stock tyre can be. There are obviously better quality tyres in the market which will have better performance and durability. And I am no expert but i do feel as if the tread pattern looks quite minimal and may not be very grippy in varied surfaces, in other words these may not be very versatile. Its just my observation and maybe a better informed person can throw some light on this. I am yet to test them for this but I believe the main objective for these tyres is to reduce noise and provide better mileage by reducing the resistance. I was planning to upgrade these to the ATs right out of the showroom but thought will atleast try the stock tyres out as the trips planned for the next couple of years are mainly highways. But in due course I would be more comfortable with ATs.

Thanks Adesh. Very valid inputs. I took my car delivery last week and chose to stick with Goodyears and didnt swap to Michelins. Online intl reviews of these tires were pretty decent, so decided to hold on to them for few yrs before I switch to Michelin. My experience so far within in city driving has been very good but wont know till I try highway drives. Tread pattern certainly seems to be designed for lower noise and looks similar to Pirelli or Conti.
Guys I finally took the plunge. Went to my trusted Balaji Wheels in Nerul to change my 56k driven Bridgestone EP850s to Bridgestone A/T 002 in OEAM size. Tyres look aggressive. First impressions are that they can take road abuse better and car has leech like grip which had started to weaken as the OEM tyres crossed 45k. Here are a few pics:

Outgoing vs Incoming

Great grippy tread

meaner look - a departure from the otherwise sophisticated look of the 700
