Accent gets upsize Goodyear Eagle Ventura, got rid of GT3

Last year i got Goodyear GT3 tires for my accent OEM size (175/70 R13)thetireshad just average grip better than the oem tubed type tires, the valve blew on a T-bhp drive just the next day i drove them,as the tires wore out grip became insufficient, the only thing good about GT3 was that they were very strong tires and were resistant to punctures,in their 60,000km life i never had to change the tire on road.Less grip meant the car had tail swinging out at many occassions as even the suspension needed overhaul, but for a person used to changing the tires at every 35k kms 60,000kms is a very satisfying life after all that hard driving. After 60k kms i realise the rear tires are almost bald (due to worn out dampers) and front ones have reached TWI i decided the car needs new tires and better ones with more grip and good ride.Confused as ever G3's are my all time favorite, wanted to try yokohamas was very conufused at the mean time i read about eagle venturas so decided to decide at the tire dealer. So went to a tire dealer recommended by my dad, asked about availablity of all the tyres mentioned above in 195 and 205 sizes. The dealer offers 195/60R13 eagle ventura at 2200 bucks a piece,G3 was more than a 1000bucks more so asked him to get the tires on the car.Now car rides better than before, the tail is not as willing to swing out now, slamming on brakes stops the car in considerably less distance and the tyres screech less. The strength of tires wet grip is yet to tested as it did not rain for long.

Good Choice of tyre anshuman, looking at the V-Tred Design Ventura's should give a good performance in wet/rainy conditions.

One question what about tyre Noise?

cheers

I dont feel that these tyres are noisy compared to my previous set GT3,potenza G3(used them on indica) and eagle F1(used them on palio and a friend's accent)

Congrats Anshuman...!!
U have got much better tyres than what u had earlier
Elf will be very impressed with u...
Running 195/60-13 on 5j rims isn't a good idea...

thanks kpzen, but its a safer idea than 175 size tyres on a car thats made to scream on every corner, but i will miss my tail swinging out.
