I was interested more on highway terrain which would give comfy ride compared to all terrain. But I could not find trusted reviews about highway terrain tyres for Safari.

So I settled for Michellin AT tyre which is good in comfort as well.

Regards,

Ravi.

Michellin LTX AT2 for the 16" and LTX AT for the 15" though meant for AT give better highway comfort than the Bridgestone Dueller HT but due to soft side wall are suspect in case of the sidewalls brushing sharp object while doing true offroading.

For true off roading The geolander AT seems the best bet. while for highways the Michellins seem to have the edge.

Pricing for both is within 5% of of each other.

Better braking and handling on AT but think its tad harder.

I almost forgot that HT's were available when I got my AT's and hence didnt ask for advise. IF you can browse last two pages you can see how they differ visually.

Just highway drive? Get HT.

I think the HT does not have the white side wall markings that the AT have for geos. Not sure through. Impact on look.

Can anyone let me know the best deal (in BLR) I can look for if I go for exchange of stock 235/70R16 Bridgestones that comes with 2.2 VTT with either Michelins (LTX) or Yokos of same size?

A quick response is highly appreciated! Thanks in advance.

I feel to get good deal visit either Millivision or Sai Iyangar on lalbhag road or Super Tyre Tec in JC Road.

If you want best package in terms of service visit Nikhil's shop which is nothing but Madhu's Tyre car or Tyre professionals. My advice buy Michelins they are best of the lot. Please try to get at least 6-8 months old manufactured instead of more than 1 year old tyres.

Try to sell stock tyres seperately rather than exchange, but take a call based on what you find is right

Regards,

Ravi.

It's actually Madhus Tyre Centre or Madhus Enterprises . Hehe. No apostrophe! But almost everyone spells it with an apostrophe!

Alloys that come with 4x4 and/or VX. These are 6.5J alloys and experts dont suggest getting 255's on these.

I am taking delivery of my Safari Lx ( CG ) on Monday. I plan to exchange my OEM rims and tyres immediately.
I was told by dealer that Yoko has shut shop in India and people are selling leftover stock or grey mkt imports in india. I didnt believe him but he is an authorized seller of Yokos. any truth in his claims. He was pushing for BF Goodrich as a bestseller ?

1. I am keen on Yoko Geolander AT/s. Any recommendations on where should i get it from in Delhi?
2. I have read mixed reviews about BFG and noise seems to be a concern. The size was similar to OEM and I have mixed feelings about that.Any user reviews ?
3.What exchange price can I expect for the duellers ?
4. I have seen a lot of hoardings of some Cooper Tyres from USA for SUV's . Any idea about them ?

thanks in advance
