Help: getting new footwear..suggestions please

I am getting new footwear for my lancer in a few hours from now. I have chosen my alloys but was wondering if 205/50/16'' would be a good upsize? What do you guys think? Otherwise would it be a wiser option to go in for 205/50/15'' ? How different do you think the ride quality will be?

Cheers

Buddy there are lots of threads about Lancer' upsize.

Anywayz you can go for either 205/55/15 or 205/50/16 both are proper upsizes for the Lancer

Running my baleno currently on this spec 205/50/15 from Yoko's. Ride is pretty hard but then I like the way the car handles.

Congrats

Congerats for buying and enjoying new shoes, which pattern you have chosen. Please do share your experience, how your ride, handling, comfort has been different from earlier tyres.
Next time you go in for a change of shoes, 205/55 R15 would be more advisable as it's overall diameter is very close to stock shoes.

Happy and safe motoring...

I got the yoko es100. It not only handles well but looks awesome. I got the plati bmw pattern. Just love them. My car now does not look cheap and flashy but sporty and rich(well thats what I feel). The new footwear handles really well. Feel a lot more grip now. Yet to really test it out. Will give a full review on Monday once I have driven it on the ecr. Planning on a fishing trip this weekend so will take pics this weekend and post them..

Cheers

It was love at first sight with the yokos and thus I did not go further. Found an amazing set of alloys for my swift. So will be getting footwear upgrade for my swift next week will keep your advice in mind.

My cam is pretty much screwed so will get hold of my bro or dad's cam and will post pics asap. Quote: " Good things come late ".

seems the thread did its job. You got Yokos ES100 for your lancer. Would have been great if you could have posted their price .

Congrats redsfx! Why do I get the feeling that your Plati rims are the same as mine?
