You have any plans for a remap or tunning box?

How about EAGLE F1s ? I am really desperate to get that tread pattern in . Just worried about the life of that kind of a tyre.
Actually Eagle F1s are now passe, they look good, thats it, but are not as good now with so much competition, Yokohama S Drives are much better and look the part too. Eagle F1's will wear very very quick.

BTW the Laura with RS kit comes with Eagle F1's 225/45/17

About the RS Kit : -

Oh yes the car comes with warranty with the new rims and tyres.

The extra's is 17inch wheels, eagle F1 tyres, front RS bumper with fog lamps, front grille, rear spoiler for 1,70,000, highway robbery if you ask me, its much cheaper to get it done outside.

Modded RS here

The correct upsize for Laura would be:
215/50-16
225/50-16
235/50-16

Now, in these sizes i dont think u would have many tyre options. Since Yoko almost out of stock throughout the country and Bridgestone dont have many options , the only option left is Michelin.
In Michelin u'll get Energy MXV8 which doesn't have an aggressive thread pattern to impress u i guess.
I'm not sure abt the size but i think u might get Michelin Pilot Primacy which has an assymetrical thread pattern.
I would suggest u to wait for sometime if u can and get the Yokos.

Michelin Pilot Primacy

He isn't talking about the ER60, He's talking about the ER30. They are OE on the accord's and larger sedans. It's a pretty good tyre although grip levels are lower. It's available in the larger sizes.

NOTE: Thread merged with existing one.

NOone asked the question...do you have a budget? If not, go with the Pilot's. If you do, Yokohoma's provide great VFM. Atleast their grey market tyres did. Not sure on the official pricing here.

If you really want the "V" pattern, go for the AVS Sports. I have them on my car and they are terrific. Production may have now stopped, but thats fine (not like you are looking at their resale value here ). They retail for around Rs.5,000/tyre for a 225/16.

Whatever you do, please do not fall into the Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD2/3 trap. Those tyres are really not good. And thats putting it politely. I had the D2's on my car before I switched to the AVS Sports. Its a night & day difference.

In 16" there aren't many options. Most of the tyre options are in 15" & 17".
Recently even Karthik was in search of 16" tyres and then ended up getting Regal tyres.
