Go in for Radials. Aviod tubeless, because your Rims must be old by now...

Go through this thread (by Ram) and see if you want to try 145/80R12 tyres (Alto tyres)

depending on the condition your rims are in or if your buying new rims you can get tubeless. they would be better since you do a bit of highway driving and tubless in case of a puncture does not lose pressure quickly.

pros & cons of 13" rims with tubeless tyre

would like to know the pros & cons of 13" rims with tubeless tyre. what is the reason or beneifit in going for 13' esteem. how worthy is this RIM with TL tyre for a 10 year old M800. which TL tyre & size should i go for. is there any other car -from MARUTI- family wherein 13'' Esteem rim would go well with TUBELESS tyre.

shapath why don't u in for a pair of mags and tires in 12 inch itself.
it would really make the old 800 look very classy..

I'm sure ull get a lot of guys who want to get rid of their 12" mags.
And they would generally sell them with tires.

pro

the car will have slightly better handling
the grip level will be more as the tyre would be wider
the car will have more ground clearance and will look good

cons

the FE may drop a little
and the ride may become a little bumpy
