Installation is at Rs 350 for all wheel balancing and alignment. Planning to get the same package in the coming month as the Vectras need replacement. | |

![]() I'm planning to get Falken Azenis P722 tyres. This is the only brand that gives a 2 years unconditional guarantee for any kind of damage in that period. Anyone with any feedback on these?

![]() I had bought my SX4 in December 2009. The tyres that came with it were Bridgestone Turanza 195/65 R15. I have not changed the tyres till date. It has run around 72000 kilometers. For the last one year the number of punctures on the tyres have been increasing and so I have finally decided to get them replaced. The tyres have decent amount of grip remaining though. Many owners on this thread have recommended the Goodyear Assurance. The Turanza has served me well and I was contemplating if I need to replace them with the Goodyear Assurance or get a new set of Turanza's itself. Usage pattern: For the first 4 years it was a daily commute to office (~40 kilometers a day) + a drive to Kerala once in six months. For the last 2.5 years it has been mainly used on weekends + a drive to Kerala once in six months.

If you get the Turanza's, buy them. If not, then Goodyear Assurance is an excellent choice. PS: I've used Turanza's on my brother's SX4 VDI and am currently using Assurance on my SX4 ZXI | |

![]() The Assurance is slightly soft which will make it prone to punctures.

![]() The stock tyres for my SX4 ZXi bought in December 2009 were the JK Vectra, and they just didn't last long enough (they were coming apart...and all the tyres started disintegrating at about the same time). In 2013, after about 25k odd kms, I got them replaced with the Goodyear Assurance. So far, they have served me very well (my average yearly mileage is 7k kms approx). Nice grip, nice feel, less noise (compared to the Vectra), both in city and on highways. I remember considering Bridgestone Turanza as well, but the cost difference then was substantial to prompt me to go for the GY Assurance. If cost is not an issue (I anyway do not know the current market rate), I would prefer the Turanza.

![]() Even i switched to Goodyear Assurance after 34k kms on the Vectra. They are superb and a little soft. The vehicle rides very well and made a huge difference to high speed ride. Since the cost of Vectra was similar to Assurance but I must say they are a better choice. Apart from this I had Falken as an option but didn't get much feedback about it.

![]() I was not able to get the Turanza. The person at Madhus Enterprises (Langford rd, Bangalore) recommended the Michelin Primacy 3 ST over Goodyear Assurance so I decided to give it a shot. It has been over a week now and the main difference I feel while driving is that the pot holes feel softer compared to the Turanza. In terms of tyre noise both Turanza and Michelin are silent.

![]() Be very careful about the unconditional warranty on tyres. There can be minimal chance for any unconditional warranty on a consumable item such as tyres.

![]() I am running on Goodyear Assurance on my Sx4 Zdi with 205 60 R16 tyres .They need to be replaced soon. I am looking for budget options. Available tyres are Good year assurance, JK Vectra, Apollo Alnac 4g, MRF ZVTV. All these are priced between 5800 Rs to 6500 Rs per tyre. There are also Chinese tyres like Kenda and Triangle available at about 4800 Rs. How is MRF wanderer sport and JK ux royale? Their price and availability not known exactly. Kindly give your suggestions. Last edited by fireblade007 : 21st June 2016 at 11:28.
