Re: Maruti Suzuki SX4 : Tyre & wheel upgrade thread

Hello Everyone,

My SX4 Zxi (205/60 R16) has touched 80k odo & i am searching for good value for money tyres with long life.

In my city, i got the following quotes from different local dealers:

1. Bridgestone Potenza G3 - 6800/- (2 years Standard Warranty)

2. Apollo Alnac 4G - 6400+250 = 6650/- (2 Years Standard Warranty, 250/- per tyre extra for 2 years Unconditional Warranty)

3. Yokohama Earth-1 - 6700/- (2 Years Unconditional Warranty & 5 Years of Standard Warranty)

4. Falken - 6600/- (2 Years Standard Warranty)

Please suggest me a tyre from the above. I feel the prices seems to be somewhat higher so please tell me that by bargaining how much cost i would be able to reduce.

Thanks in Advance!

I have tried Apollo and GY Assurance on my SX4, at these prices. Yokos were costing me 9k at that time so never tried it. I am surprised you are getting Yokos at this price.

But at this priceline, I will definitely go with the Yokos than anything else, because they are just better. If you want anything cheaper go with Ultramile, check Rahul Balghat's post about Ultramile somewhere on this thread.
