BF Goodrich tyres??
(
https://www.team-bhp.com/forum/tyre-alloy-wheel-section/30059-bf-goodrich-tyres-2.html)
looks like the one pic he's posted is the
BFG G Force sport...
The BF goodrich tyres that Michelin India sells are only available in 235/75/R15 and 235/70/R16 sizes. So I doubt if you could get what you're looking for in B&W. Grey market maybe a possibility.
ok so i think from all this reviews i should not go for BF goorich instead i will prefer yokohama s-drive
Need a clear picture on the BF Goodrich. I am getting my Innova delivered today and immediately want to upsize to 225/60/R15 (from 205/65/R15). The choices I have from Sai Iyengar & Sons are Yokohama C Drives and BF Goodrich. Which should I go for? Need answers soon people...
I have BF Goodrich 195/60 R14 on my Getz and find it quiet good. The thread pattern is symmetric and hence gives a bit of tyre noise. But otherwise the grip that the tyre offers is amazing at speeds at excess of 160km/h . I would recommend it if you are ready to bear with a little tyre noise. The ride got a little bumpy after i changed but if you are looking out for them on new vehicle go in for them immediately.

God NO! go for the C drives. Much better tyres.
As mentioned earlier in this thread, I have BF Goodrich tires on my Mazda 3.Been good for the past 25K miles, and its time to change them. I guess i have 215/45/R17 performance tires right now.
The only issue I have faced is the increased road-noise. Definitely worth considering,if you drive a lot each day.
In Delhi most of the tire dealers I spoke to tried to dissuade me from getting BF. They were pushing for Yoko/Michelin which are more expensive.
I guess the margin is less in case of BF, thats why?
Go for the Yoko C-Drives without doubt. You'll be happy for many miles to come.
I have BF G Traction T/A on my Camry for the past two months, I am extremely happy. They did well in snow (we get lots of it) great in rains and seems great in dry weather. I did some research on 1010tires.com and tirerack.com and based on these, price and my usage I bought these. Very happy so far.

Nope. Nothing like that. BFG is a brand most people havent heard of. Not too many tyres have been sold, so most people are not too sure how they will hold up.
Plus, I always consider BFG to be a cheap alternative to Michelin. It is being brought into India ONLY to fill the gap in the market(w.r.t price).
Maybe all these factors are contributing to dealers themselves not pushing the tyre.

Pretty good tyres. But, there are a lot of OLD stock lying around here. So, tread carefully :) |
You could check the date of manufacture by the codes near DOT. It gives in weeks and last two digits of year of manufacture.
I finally went for the Yokohama C Drives. Happy with the performance for the last two days :).
They didn't have the BFGs in stock, so I didn't even get to see them.

Good buy vivek. Congrats!! Do you get tyre noise?
I haven't noticed any tyre noise as yet Shyam. I am very gentle with the vehicle since it is running in. Not sure if there will be noise at higher speeds (cannot check until after first service / 1000kms). :deadhorse
