With 205/60-13 getting such wide 13" rims could be a problem and mounting 205 tyres on 5.5j rim is not a good idea.
The best option would be to get 195/60-14

by rims you mean alloys with width more than 5.5j for the 13" alloy wheels?

so can you please tell me what is the suitable width of the wheels to fit 205/60-R13 tyres and if i can find the alloys of the specs you tell me, then can i fit the alloys with the above tyre configuration?

i am asking this because i have seen and clicked a car OHC with these tyres and the alloy here are the pics!

the tyres did not look over sized for these alloys this car's owner lives near my place i think if i ever get a chance i will definitely persuade him for a feedback, prices and other details

Rider - Another factor to consider is that the width of tyre should be in proprotion to the width of the wheel rim. So what KP is trying to tell you is that mounting 205's on a 5.5J rim is not really recommended, ideally the rim width for that tyre size should be 6J.

@ iragava i have seen a couple of 6j alloys that are 13inchers only the design was not all that good/suiting or if there was a good design with the 13inchers and the 6j tag it was from a non-reliable brand of alloys!

so i am still hunting for the brand that has good reputation and also the specs i need that is 6j * 13inch wheels and reasonably good design!

There's no Yokohama 205 tyre in 13".
The only other option should be Apollo Accelere.

well my first choice was BS G- -III tyres, i dint know that the spec was unavailable in yokohama but loved brand for the road grip they provide as i drove a NHC with these tyres, but if Apollo is the only other brand then i will choose between these.

can you tell me which of these two brands has a better road grip and advantages!

Hey Rider60,

I have two friends one has a Petrol Viva and the other the CRDi one. The petrol head got his wheels upsized to 15" and so did the diesel head to 14". The petrol car had no issues while the diesel car used to bottom at every small pot hole and the rear wheels gave a distinct thud all the time. The Hyundai A$$ suggested him not to upsize from 13" to any size bigger as they indicated the car cannot take an upsize (whoa). Please check with your A$$ to confirm if u can do this upsize or not before you take that plunge....
