BHPian | ![]() Sorry for being slightly off topic here. I have seen small cracks in tyres which have run only about 25k. Are cracks always due to hardening of tyres? Apart from good driving, what are the other methods to take care of tyres? |

BHPian ![]() | ![]() I stuck with the stock 145/80R12 Bridgestones that came with my little Alto for almost 5 years ! Covered around 45K Kms during that period. Switched to new Bridgestones when one of the rear tires split down the middle ! ![]() Within a few months, switched to GoodYear 165/65R13s, when I went for alloy rims. The tires were a pain however, slow punctures plagued me for a couple of months. When I'd finally had enough of having to have my air topped-up every 3 to 4 days, I switched to Yokohama 175/60R13 A539s, this was a couple of months back. Haven't had any issues since ![]() P.S. - Touchwood ! |
