Stock Bridgestones (165/80/R13) - at 37000kms and 5 years, the tyres and tread are as good as new - looks like they should be good for another 10-13K kms.
Though I can't wait for them to wear off so that I could go for wider tyres(185/60/R13).

SB, I can help with that, just bring it for track day and let couple of "drives" have a go.

SB one look at your signature and i can understand why those tyres never wear out..

on a serious note - 50k kms for stock tyres is i guess the average that most ppl get.

u should try stretching it to 60 atleast.

why dont u check what exchange price u would get now for these tyres ? if its good, why wait for it to wear out

Pirelli 170/70/R13 Lasted 35000 Kms and nearly 5 years in my accent.
Tread was ok from the look of it but they were like disintegrating from within.
Tyres would get punctured every week and were not comfortable at high speed.

Changed them to Bridgestone B250 , but the car unfortunately got stolen few months after tyre change :(

After 1 visit on the track, I did think there would be serious wear of the tyres. But no. Maybe I did not drive hard enough.

Signs of getting older, I guess. But that 14kmpl kind of driving was just for a short-phase of some 6-7 months. Can't drive like that for ever - too boring. Am back to 12kmpl, but did not get around to modifying the signature.

I would not be surprised if they hit 60K. I know that Bridgestones (atleast the normal ones that come OEM) are considered crap on the forum, but I like the fact that they are so durable - tyre-noise be damned. And most probably the replacement would also be a simple Bridgestone.

It's not about the exchange price - I can't bring myself to waste stuff/resources.

My mistake. I have your SMS still saved on my phone - about the spoiler and wider tyres. But I am unable to find the Baleno spoiler - a couple of MASS' that I spoke to dont have it. And the tyres won't wear off.
