Performance + control + MILEAGE + looks !! Is santa coming to town Dude if u plan to go for 15" be ready to compomise on ride quality as well as fuel efficiency to some extent. You can go for a max size of 205/65/R15 for your lancer. Though I would suggest you stick to 195/60/R15

That's not a very good upsize. Would suggest you go for 205/50/15, which is the option I selected. No scraping issues, even with full load. Some have opted for 205/55/15, whose rolling radius is closer to the stock size. This, can however, have scraping issues under full load.
The other option is 195/55/15... not too much choice in this size though.

As WasavaTyres has mentioned, you will have to compromise a bit on the ride quality if you opt for low profile perormance-oriented tyres. There are several options out there, and you can go through the tyre & alloys section to know about these.

I have fitted 205/50/15 Michelin Pilot Preceda 2 tyres on Plati alloys, and am very happy with the overall package.

205/50-15 is the perfect 15" upsize for Lancer.
Get either Michelin PP2 or Yokohama S drive

Don't expect any mileage improvement when u upsize from 175s to 205s..!

No..I just choosen not yet bought.if i choose the 195/60/r15 tyre size calculator shows "when ur speedo reads 100kph,u r actually traveling 100.8kph".when i choose 205/50/r15 it shows "when ur speedo reads 100kph,u r actually traveling 96kph".what does it mean? does it affect the speed when choosen 205/50/r15.

This is one dead horse and no point flogging it over and over. Please use the search feature to locate details about how to calculate tyre sizes and what they mean. You can even use the tyre bible at carbibles.com. It has excellent reference on the subject.
