Pretty much the same thing. However...

The second option would seem to have the advantage since you want lower air pressure under the car (suck air out) as opposed to pushing air in.

However, all this would probably make a negligible diference in the case of these two cars, but look at the direction on the SLR.... its the same as the E.

Hmmmm!

I think all the rims are actually in the same rotation pattern, hence the E Class looking from the left looks backward rotation and CLS from the right looks Forward rotation, same applies for the Laura too.
