was kind of considering the R14 because of the warranty! other wise i have no issues going to the R15

any other brand other than michelin MVX8? they are priced 4400 a tyre man thats very high!

see they are like 4400*5=22000
and the alloys are going to cost me like 18000 for a set of five!

the total is 40K bucks which is over my budget like by 10K!

so had a second thought and was kind of considering the other tyre brands, apart from the best! how are the other brands priced for the 195/60-R15?

if have the approx-prices atleast and a midrange brand that costs a little less but has decent performance please!
see i can get at max the alloys for 16500 set of five already have my eyes fixed on the these bbs design alloys by prestige!
here are the pics this i plan to put in my swift LDi!

i think these are 6J or 6.5J but R15 alloys i dont know exactly but will let you guys know the details asap! i wanted these for my swift LDi silver color! and the tyres is where i wanted to cut the cost a little atleast to fit my budget!
all of this is for me!

i began this thread for my cousin who has 55K-60K for alloys and tyres so wanted to know brand to suggest him! will ask him to get the michelin MVX8! he is actually keen on importing the alloys directly from abroad! dont know the details as of now will let you guys know asap!

If you plan to go for 14, then the right upsize is 195/65/14

40k - 5k(buy back, 1000 per tire) = 35k

well can some one explain the pros and cons of going to 15inch upgrade that is 195/60-R15 or staying with the 14inch rim size but upgrading the tyres and alloys for 195/65-R14

you see i will be able to get the set of 5 of R14 for around 32K approx if its R15 then i will need to spend atleast 38K bucks!

and the stock tyre here has no value so they take them for 800 a tyre! so i might as well keep them! the stock rim goes only as scrap so no point!

Pros of 15"

Looks
Handling
International Swifts come with this spec as stock

Cons
Ride Quality Suffers
Costs more then 14"

If the guy is taking 800 per tire then that = 4000, over here they take 100 per rim. Anyways that means you need to pay 36k which is worth it IMO.
Also 165/80/14 is used by no car except the Fiat hence the poor resale of the tires.

Michelins

Michelins. They are generally rounder, have more sipes for traction and last longer. Once you have a set, you will not want anything else.
