I bought 5 Michelin LTX A/T 235/75R15 a couple of months back in Pune for Rs4850 per tyre. These tyres are okay for mild offroading, but lack sidewall protection. I suggest you also look at BFGs.

And yeah, they do feel good. steering feels a LOT lighter now.

PS: michelin Ltx A/T 255/70/r15 - Rs:6600 per tire

cant quite get the part about steering feeling lighter - is it because your earlier tyres were worn out and causing too much footprint friction between them and the road or some other reason?
cheers

@shankar.balan: i think it may be the reason, but it sure feels light and very easy to turn. did a 40Km drive yesterday, there was no noise from the tires at high speeds, vehicle stays glued to the tarmac. but ride is little bumpy while running over small speed breakers.

PS: the front tires touched the body(the metal plate like part behind the front bumper) a lot while doing lock to lock turns, so i had a small portion of that metal plate cut off(welded off). Now its fine, no touching issues.

understandable - the tyre size is 255 so since they are reasonably bigger than the normal 235 that the Scorp uses, they would tend to touch and squeak a bit. This might have been the right opportunity for you to upgrade to 16 inch rims/ alloys like in the newer Scorps!
cheers
