We upgraded from GT3 to Assurance on our Fusion over a year ago. Great tyres!. Am extremely satisfied. Slightly better ride & lower noise.

Just this morning I went to a Dealer enquiring about tyres for my SX4 Zxi, that would be 205/60/R16. He suggested two: BS MY-02 and GY Assurance ArmorGrip. The MY02 was priced at Rs 8300 apiece, while the Assurance was quoted at Rs 6800.

While I was more inclined towards BS, the Dealer categorically wanted me to buy the Assurance. I certainly have to get my stock JK Vectra tyres replaced, but came back to mull over the issue of which one. I'll take a decision this week, but the point is that, as commented by others too in this thread, some dealers feel that the GY Assurance is better than BS.

Bought the set of 5 GY Assurance tyres (205/60/16). 6800 apiece, free balancing and alignment. Nice comfortable ride back home.

Got a set of 4 GY assurance tyres for my SX4 ZXI (205/60/R16) yesterday. Cost per tyre was 6700/ at global tyres Vytilla. I had used two sets ( 8 tyres) of JK Vectra in last 3 years ( 75000 kms) and they performed well in no road conditions in my part of Kerala and during my monthly highway run to Bangalore and back.

The visible difference I feel is steering has become more free compared with Vectra. Noise is bit less when compared to Vectra's, however need to check on concrete roads. Ride is bit comfy but not a big difference. My main criteria is reliability and is yet to be proven. I had only one puncture with Vectras in last 75000 kms which was fixed without removing the tyre after few days.

Got a set of GY assurance 205/60R16 at a price of 5k per tyre.I was told there is a discount going on which reduces the price to 5k .

I was given positive feedback's about the GY assurance by the dealer and he was kind of pushing for it .

The general mentality is the lower the price the low quality tyre you get .

One more reason for inclination towards GY assurance is that there is a replacement of the tyre if anything happens with in 2 years.

The dealer mentioned that the GY assurance is the OEM fitment in Ecosport.

How would you rate these against the MRF ZLO ? Are these better than the ZLO ?

Are you looking at Tyres for Ford Ecosport ?

ZLO is better in almost every way but the Assurance I believe lasts a lot longer and is quieter. The ZLO is an out and out performance tyre.

It's a steal at that price ! What manufacturing date ? The Assurance currently has a 2 yrs / 50% wear unconditional warranty on it.

I own a 2009 Hyundai Verna; I switched to Good Year Assurance (195/60 R14) @ 50k kms, now the car is at 80k.

After having almost 6 punctures in one of the tyres, the only option I had was to add a tube. However, after adding the tube car wobbles a lot after 70km/h and balancing the tyre isn't helping either.

The option I have -

- Buy a new pair for front and use the old good years at back.

Now, if I change the front two tyres and go for a different brand (Obviously not Good Year this time) with same size, would that affect the road holding and car behaviour?

Lastly, which brand should I go for? My requirements are - at least 50k kms life and ride quality.
