Want to know whether the above mentioned Bridgestone Potenza III's are better than Michelin XM1's in size 165/60 R13.

My replies in bold

1) Is Rs 2700 for Potenza G3 165/60/R 13 justified?

Price seems to be reasonable. I paid 2,500/- per tyre for Turanza's 2 years back

2) have any of you guyz run on 5.5 J alloys? Please comment on the issues I might have if I run 5.5J? or if you have a better solution SHOOT

Have been using 5.5J HR alloys since 2 years and no problems whatsoever. So go ahead

Re: Please suggest tyre size / alloys for an Alto Lxi

Hi

I recently upgraded the wheels on my SRV from Bridgestone Potenza GIII 195/60/R15 to Bridgestone Turanza ER 300 195/65/R15. I paid 5450 per tyre. My two queries: is that a fair price for those tyres or did I end up paying more since I was in a hurry and didnt haggle with him much and didnt explore too many other stores.

Secondly, for now I have just changed two tyres and put the new ones in front and the old ones at the back. So is it OK to run them for a month before I upgrade the other two? And it wont make much difference running the car on two differently profiled tyres right?
