How about Yoko S drives? I would suggest Yokos over Michelin mainly because of the VFM factor.

I am no guru but, Currently you are running on 225/45 how you feel the ride though they are maxxis if the ride is comfortable then go with the same or you think mugen need more cushion then go with 50 profile.

Not sure about india though.
Contact BK Tyre for the same. You know the drill.

Michelin has an dedicated indian website where they have uploaded the sizes available in India, but Yokohama does not.

These are the options.

Michelin: 225/45 R17: PP2 for abt 10.5k Pilot sport 2 for abt the same price. Primacy HP for about 11k.
215/45 R17: Not available
205/45 R17: Not available
205/50 R17: Not available

In Michelin, there is only one size available. I wouldnt recommend Option 2 or 3 since the ride quality will deteriorate further.

Yokohama:

1.225/45/17: S drives for about 8600/- ES501 which is a comfort tyre for about 8400. A drive R1 which is a budget tyre for about 6400 and Ad07s which is hardcore performance for 12.5k.

2.215/45/17: You have S drives and A drive R1 for 9200 and 6000 per tyre.

3.205/45/17: Not available.
4.205/50/17 : not available

I would suggest Continental as well. I know you said only Yoko and Michelin, but I suggest Conti too.

You get 225/45 R17 in ContiSport contact 2 for abt 10k per tyre. These are supposed to be really really good.
