Need budget alloys required for Estilo Lxi

My brother in law who owns a Estilo LXi wants to upgrade to alloys. His budget is around 15-20K (can be extended only if he gets exceptional value for money for the alloys).

As both of us are not very much aware about alloys and their cost, we are turning to this forum for help for the same. I've already searched posts for Estilo alloys but except 2-3 posts, I was not able to get anything informative about this.

1. What brands alloys do we stick to for our budget (15K - can be extended to 20K)? Is the budget too less? How much would good alloys cost (we don't want high end ones but basic 4-5 spokes are good enough)

2. What do we need to take care of while choosing alloys apart from it's look? We don't want to upsize the tyres or rims at this stage. Also, the tyres are stock as of now.

3. There have been some posts about a few alloys not being too easy for removal (as it requires some special spanner - hope its called that - for its bolts). Should we be avoiding these?

4. Which are good shops in Mumbai suburbs (we may go townside also if there are reputable shops) where we can get genuine alloys and be able to see variety for choice.

We are planning to upgrade the tyres to Michelin XM1 after around 6-8 months.

15-20K???
since you donot need high end ones and you not planning to upgrade.
you can get alloys for a Zen estilo(13") for around 10K.
If you were here in chandigarh you could have found decent alloys in 8-9K

This budget is good enough for a set of 5 alloys, 13" dia for your estilo.
Will get in the range from 10~20K

Please dont go for 4 spokes, would recommend for 5 or more. and try to avoid heavy alloys (which will effect your FE).
Would recommend 5 spoke League/Plati/Polo for good looking and reliable models.

It is recommended to change the bolts from the stock to the special ones to avoid scratches while removing and fixing the wheels. This set of 16 bolts comes with a special key with which those can be removed and fixed (dont forget to ask for this) This should be kept with your car toolkit.

Thanks for the replies. Still waiting for Mumbaikars replies for dealers. Maybe everyone is in the Diwali mood. No problems. We are planning to buy it after Diwali.

Can you explain why would 5 spoke be recommended against 4? Any technical reasoning behind it?

Saifee at Santacruz has a good range of alloys. Apart from this there are quite a few dealers at Opera House (PM Ramie2400) and there's Premji's at Mahim & Four Seasons at Tardeo.

Continuation of query

A friend of mine (not a TBHP member) has finalized the following alloy designs in 13". Could someone tell me where in Mumbai can we get these and indicative prices for the same?

Mag Wheels,Automotive Wheels,Aluminum Alloy Wheels,Car Chrome Wheels,Supplier
Mag Wheels,Automotive Wheels,Aluminum Alloy Wheels,Car Chrome Wheels,Supplier
Mag Wheels,Automotive Wheels,Aluminum Alloy Wheels,Car Chrome Wheels,Supplier

Also, what all are the usual freebies when purchasing alloys/tires? e.g. I have read wheel balancing and alignment, chrome nuts (what are they?) and puncture repair kit (Either of these three items) are generally thrown in free?
