Just want to let anyone who may be interested know that I had the rims and tyres on my father's ANHC changed straight after purchase. I had it done at BK Tyre, Delhi. Got four Michelin Primacy LC 195 16 R15's and some alloys which he liked. The Honda alloys imported from China were the same price. Paid 20k total for the new tires and rims upon exchanging the stock tires and rims.
I made sure the Honda people gave us Michelin XM1's on our car as they had the highest resale value.

Congrats on the new footwear, can we have the pics please? I've heard a lot of these Honda alloys but never saw them.

Thanks

hi had a question about the tires filled with Nitrogen. How often do you have to refill them?? and can you fill normal air or nitrogen again. I am not able to make out what the correct tire pressure should be . I have also put Michelin Primacy LC 195/60 R 15 and got them filled with nitrogen since the day of the purchase.

Offset for AHNC Wheels

What is the offset of ANHC wheels? I had got Lenso D08 alloy wheels Black & red for the ANHC which were 7" wide and fitted Michelin Primacy LC 195/60 R15, the offset of the alloy wheels were 37. The ride quality got so bad, that the car crashed into the potholes badly and the car lost its chuckability. It might be due to the tyres, the width of the rims or the wrong offset of the alloys.

I shifted to original spec tyres and the steel wheels and the car is handling beautifully. I think this Honda is not well suited to upsizing of tyres. I want to get good alloys but need to be sure of the offset. Please help.

Had a Sidewall cut on the OEM stock GT3 after only 8500kms. planning replacement with stock size 175 / 65 / R15.
please advice regarding
1. Which tyre to change? Requirements - long mileage, comfort, tough sidewalls, value-for-money. Michelin / Bridgestone / MRF / Apollo / JK ?
2. which sub-brand also advice
3. Likely cost ?
4. Which showroom in Noida?
need advice to buy in 1-2 days

You will get only Michelin, MRF and Goodyear in that size. Micheling would be the best if you are changing all 4. Otherwise, stick to goodyear.

However, ideally, get 195/60 R15. A car with 118bhp needs rubber of that size. For more info, check out the various ANHC threads floating around. There is no necessity to open a new thread.

Yup. 100%. Those alloys and meant for 195/60 R15. You can fit 195/60 R15 even on steel wheels.

Spoke to the dealer on the change from OE tyre size and he kept giving me all possible scenarios which could cause damage...ex excessive load on the steering, handling etc etc. But wont commit if the change will void warranty.

My MRF are so noisy to even drown the VTEC growl!. Agree this car begs for better rubber.

Hi Nikhil - just want to know why you say so? ANHC does not come with 195 profile anywhere (as far as I have searched around in Honda sites worldwide)
