Urgent question about 225/60 r15 Yokohoma C-drives on my Innova

i just fitted 225/60 r15 yoko c-drives on my innova. big improvement but thats a story for my review thread. now the c-drive has a tread on the inner part of the tyre, see it here
Yokohama / OUR TYRES / C.drive
see the left part of the tyre shown there.

the tyre shown there is for the right side of a car. on my cars right side both the tyres are exactly like that.
Urgent question about 225/60 r15 Yokohoma C-drives on my Innova-18112008527.jpg

but on the left side the inner tread is facing backwards
Urgent question about 225/60 r15 Yokohoma C-drives on my Innova-18112008528.jpg

my question is even if i flip the tyre on the rim the tread will face the right way but will be on the outer side, so are there different tyres for the left and right side?

Akshay. Don't worry ! Its fine.

In case of asymmetrical tires, the tires can rotate in either direction with the correct side facing outside as indicated on the sidewall.

but if you see that little tread on the inner part. in the first pic the grooves are facing the front but in the 2nd pic they are facing the rear? your saying thats fine?

If there is no marking on the tyre saying "Rotation" or "Direction of rotation", it's ok.

Do check for any marking or writing which says "Inside" or "Outside"

U mean the inside half of the tread pattern is making a half V on one side and inverted half V on the other side.????

To have both the inside half tread pattern making V is not possible. Think about it

i thought it might have to be like that. i thought yoko might make different tyres for the left and the right side. also i know im being stupid but i posted this because i dont want it to be dangerous or something.

nikhil - yup it says outside on all 4 tyres.

If it says "Outside" on all 4 tyres & there are no directional arrows then they're fitted perfectly fine.
