Upgraded to PP2 :-)

Got my RE88 OEM tyres replaced with 205/60/R15 PP2s at Nikhil's place and it has definitely made a difference to the handling and steering response.

Here are my observations:
  1. The steering feels bit heavier/chunky than before in city driving. Although it gives a good feeling.
  2. The car feels more planted to the ground at high speeds (~120 km/h)
  3. The steering used to feel ultra light and sensitive at speeds over 120 km/h with my OEM tyres which was not really comforting. Now with the PP2's I could feel the difference when cruising at the same speed on the highway. No light steering any more and more confidence and control while taking the curves.
  4. Did not find any noticeable reduction in road noise compared to the RE88s. But i am not complaining.
Thanks to Nikhil for all his advice and excellent customer support. I am a happy Man :-)

Nice! Soon, you will get more adventurous! Try taking curves at a higher speed. You'll be even more surprised.

I'm here with a totally different question . Which of these three tyres in size 205/55 R15 is the most comfortable one and which comes the least ?

1. Michelin Pilot Preceda 2
2. Continental PremiumContact 2
3. Yokohama S drives
