I assume it's either the A Drives, BS ER60s or the Michelin XM1+ but will certainly confirm tomorrow. Last edited by itwasntme : 31st July 2009 at 23:25. Reason: Spalling

| ![]() It's too cheap to be the Michelins unless there's a huge price difference between here and there. I assume it's either the BS or the Yokos. |

| ![]() A drive R1 is not available for 14". It is available only for 16" and above. So, your choice is limited to the A Drive. |

| ![]() Hi Guys, I hope this is not totally ![]() My dad's booked a Ritz Zxi which already comes with the 185/70 14 tyres and alloy wheels. I am fine with the tyre specs but just wanted some opinions on whether it makes sense to upgrade to Michelins or Yoko from the stock tyres (which are either JK or Bridgestone depending on the manufactured lot - as per the dealer) Is there a tremendous improvement in ride quality and decrease in tyre/road noise if I use say Michelin XM1s or Yoko A drive |

| ![]() Do upgrade. There is quite a substantial difference between the OEM JKs and Michelin/Yokos. |

| ![]() Nikhil there was a thread saying the problem happened with yoko A drive...is it a lonely incident or should i go for Michelin which is costlier than yokos....i have to really brain wash my father for a upgrade so finally if yokos turn to be problamatic thn i will be screwed.... If u feel that is a lonely incident then i think i can go for Yoko A drives...if u are unlucky the same can happen to Micelins also... |

XM1+ is around 3650/-. A drive should be around 3150. These are BLR prices. Pune should be cheaper especially for Michelin.

| ![]() Well, Darshan Tyres and N Mehta tyres are the two biggest dealers. Combined, they almost have a monopoly in the market! Give them a try. |

| ![]() Ok - thanks Nikhil. Any idea about the correct tyre size to go in for? Or is 185/70 R14 good enough? |
