Tyring Problem

I have bought Ritz ZXI recently. They have come with JK spectra tyres, which are quiet hard and the performance is poor, to get better exchange value I was thinking of replacing with bridgestone protenza GIII, now the authorized bridgestone dealer says we do not exchange ttyres, so I went to another tyre shop, he offered me Rs.1800 for my JK and the GIII will cost Rs.3250. Is this a good offer? Moreover he suggested that I should go for Michelin XM1+, as protenza nowadays sells only in India and is discontinued. The cost for Michelin will be Rs.3850. Is Michelin worth the extra price? I live in Sion - Thane belt of Mumbai, can Bhpians guide me to some trusted tyre dealer? Thanks in advance.

AFAIK, XM1 are better than GIII. Go for them!
As for the price, try negotiating and visiting more dealers until you get a good deal!

I always find Saifee quite good, but it's out of the way for you. You could try them, they have some of the best prices around.

Michelin would get my vote. Straightaway discard those JK Vectras(not Spectras) and do not even think of those Potenza GIIIs.

Michelin XM1+ or Yoko A Drives (if you want to save Rs ~500 per tyre).

But I would still recommend Mich. Have been using XM1+ since the last 10k kms and they are superb tires!

Ada, i just changed my stock tyres with XM1+. It is absolutely stunning. Don't think off anything, rush to a dealer near you and switch it to Michelin. It drives very good on Ritz!
