Mods, thanks for merging the threads.

I certainly liked Karan's white alloys, but I figure that 98 PCD spec is the way to go. Not entirely in favour of upsizing just yet, but that decision might change.

Will post in case of any updates. Meanwhile, more suggestions certainly welcome.

Nope. Stock rims are wide enough for that. 195 might balloon out.

Just about time Finally, I got new footwear for my baby. Linea alloys with 195/60 Continental CPC2 tires. Looks and performance increased by leaps and bounds. Will post better pics soon, for now, spare my mobile pics.

Am running 30psi nitrogen in my tires now. You can play around in the bracket from 28-30 according to your comfort.

I want to upgrade the tyres on my soon to arrive PUNTO MJD to 195/60-R15.

How are Yokohama V550 ?
I already am running A-Drives on my DZire 195/60-R15.

I am looking for same size.

Does anyone know the price of A-Drives and V550 in 195/60-R15 ?

PUNTO - Tyre upgrade ...

Hi Pals,

I have a Punto Active 1.2 petrol
current tyre sz is 165 / 80 R14 , i want a better tyre which should
effect my fuel mileage . The stock tyre is JK tyre tornado

It was advised by one of friend who deals in car accessiories
to fit alloy wheels and upgrade to a better tyres

My want is ALLOY's as i have heared from car lovers that overall
tyre weight is reduced and it helps the Fuel economy than just having
tyres with full wheel caps

So what should i do ???

Fit in ALLOYS with the Stock tyres (JK tornado )

Fit in ALLOYS with upsized tyres not effecting my fuel mileage

FYI ... i m getting an FE of about 8-9 km/l with my car just
due for first service (604 km done) and little over 3 months old

Any help with be highly appreciated

hey Furious ,

I am in your team , i m now spending sleepless nights hunting for Alloys and now i am really planned to fit the similar configs like yours . You are so Lucky to tame those Linea Alloys on those CpC2's ---PERFECTO!!!

Let us know more about the PCD stuff ..is it fit with the more challenging 98 ?? or 100 ?? how much was the buy back value for your Active's RIM + TYRES set of 5 ???
I m assuming your Italian is Hitting bad on those Hyd Chicks with those 15 inchers

****GRIN FACE , (If u know what i mean)****

Nothing Else matters , Enjoy the Car

I bought stock Punto alloys for 9k (Yes!! it's 9k for set of 4 wheels ).
Fitted them in Continental CPC2's 195/60-R15. CPC2 was Rs. 4050 per tire.
