Had taken my car to Fortune Motors (Nerul) last week to do the following work;

1) The side indicator bulb had konked off ( Was charged Rs 107 /- for that )

2) The Key was getting stuck in the lock while locking & unlocking , needed greasing to be done (Its no good yet)

As its a base model theres no Central locking but had a deal with fortune motors they will install it & give.
The central locking as an accessory hasnt arrived yet.
The Mud Flaps also havent arrived yet.

98 PCD available with NEO Wheels

I had the chance to look at the new 98 pcd from Neo Wheels (Extreme).
I was planning to change the steel ones in my linea.
But since lineas and Punto are selling well, i am sure more 98 pcd's would emerge from other alloy manufacturers too. So i am still waiting.

The 'extreme' ones from Neo looks good. Three options Chrome, Silver and Black Machined.

Did you manage to get any pic of that?

I checked their site. The 16" extreme they have is available in pcd 100-114. So I don't know if you saw 98 pcd on their site or in the showroom. Can you please clarify?

Saw it with the Neo Exclusive dealer here in TVM

Power House is an exclusive dealer for Neo Wheels here at TVM. I saw the Xtreme 98 PCD with them.

Go to Welcome to Neo Wheels and go the Wheel Catalogue section. Under that select 15" Xtreme. The same ones as shown in the picture. I saw the Black Machined one.

This is the same site i visited. I checked again and in 15" extreme, they have three varieties which show min pcd 100 and max pcd 114.3. I can't find 98 pcd anywhere.

May be the website is not updated..not sure about the reason 'why?'

But i am sure that it was 98 PCD since i know the shop owner very personally and he specifically informed me through on our friend that two sets of 98 pcd for Linea has arrived from Neo. I had enquired earlier for 98 pcd, but they were not available at that time.

Since it was known that 98 PCD were like "Extinct", i did check the packing and it was embossed in bold "98 PCD".

If i had not had a second thought, those wheels would have adorned my linea and i could have posted the pictures.

Also let me try to get some pictures or any other brochures as i would be visiting them this weekend.

1st service of the car has been done which included tightening of various bolts etc of the car, top up of engine oil, gear oil etc. & exterior & interior cleaning.

They were telling me to get the alignment done too. But i dint think there was any need for the same.

Bill Amount : Rs 0

UPDATE on the RIMS : Running fine till now. Have completed 3600 kms till now.

Im also planning to buy the Active model of the Punto. I had a question for you - Can you tell me from where you got the B-pillars blackened ( Im assuming they are 3M stickers or something)? Also, how much did that cost you?

Itll help coz Im from Mumbai too. Thanks.
