White Punto (Rim + Tyre upgrade) EDIT : Pics on Page 2

Hello friends ,
Its been long posting on team-bhp. Work + college kept me busy. But my recent buy i.e. Grande Punto was something i wanted to share with you.
I previously used the Swift D (Ldi) which i used exactly for 2 years did approx. 63k kms and was purely impressed with the performance of the engine.
I Sold the same for 3 lakhs (kept the ICE with me though for the Punto)
I booked the PUNTO ACTIVE in Bossa Nova White from Fortune Motors (Nerul) around 1st week of July and was commited the delivery of the same around the end of July. But i got the deliverly late around 2nd week of August.
I took the delivery from nerul and headed towards Silvassa (Gujrat) for registration which is aprox. 170 km drive from Mumbai.
The car was amazingly stable at high speeds considering it was on 165/80 R14s i was overwhelmed by the solid buid of the car when u close the door it gives a thump which gives a big car feel though the interior plast
quality could have been better.
I was disappointed with the turning radius of the car though.
I geuss rest all the review has been covered by GTO in his post on punto.
Im posting my first pic with the car. Will upload the better pics soon.

Lenso Samurais dont come in 98 PCD. Just be careful of what you are buying.

The car of course looks smashing! Congrats!

Oh no! Another person putting his safety at risk by fitting 100PCD rims to a 98PCD car. It may look super hot, but it's not recommended. I dont mean to dampen your enthusiasm Karan, but it's not safe.

All fiat vehicles have 98 PCD wheels.

I appreciate your concern Nikhil but the thing was there was no choice of " 98 " PCD available . The PCD's which i was getting were 100,108,114.3 & 120.

Installing a 100 PCD rim on 98 PCD is tried & tested on many cars as you dont find 98 PCD rims available if at all you find you may or may not like the design.

The bolts used for the wheel are from the stock setup which neednt require a change. (which adds confidence)

Infact i have been using the car with the UPSIZE SETUP for about a week and i havent noticed any vibrations (i.e. between 80-120 km/h) & is completely flawless.
