Who told you that??! you get two different speed ratings in Conti CPC2 195/65 R15. H and V rated. The H rated is about 4.5k and the V rated is about 4.8k

Hi Everyone.

I was suppose to put new shoes on my civic in oct 09, but due to some reason or other it got delayed, but today finally I bought new tyres for my car.

Its Conti CPC2 195/65 R15. Got it for Rs. 4850 per tyre including alignment and balancing + cost of the weights. Also filled Nitrogen in all five tyres that costed me 100Rs per tyre (which in my opinion is steep)

Initial impression -
1. Very silent compared to GY NCT5.
2. Steering felt little heavy but in a good way. Now it feels well weighted.
3. High speed driving dynamics have improved quite a bit, car felt more planted at 120+ kph speed.
4. Braking also has improved.

Cant really quantify the results but improvement felt tangible enough.

Nitrogen for 500 bucks, you're looted by 4 times the average price of Rs.25/ tyre. May we know the name of the Tyre Dealer please so that others don't end up getting such a big hole in their pockets.

Singh Tyre Shopee in CR Park.. That what I though. But funny thing is that i found the price of tyres to be reasonable.. Anyways I would appriciate if some one can recomend good sun film for my civic. I have already post a query here -

Thanks for the information. By the way, I hope you got the bill and the warranty card (if Conti gives one). OT,Nitrogen in my Xing's tyres didn't do any good as pressure was not stable. After 2 months, one tyre had 34psi and others between 30-33psi against 29psi filled.

I did got the B&W for the tyres.. He is authorised dealer for Conti..

Actually this for the first time I have filled tyres with Nitrogen, its just an experiment to see if there is any significant differences or just marketing BS..

Whoa!! Manu, you paid 100 bucks a tyre for Nitrogen inflation?
Not at all worth it.(IMHO). let me see Simran or Uncle at Singh Shoppee for this.

But too steep none the less.
