this size has been mentioned by kpzen as a probable upsize for hyundai i10. but i can't see this size listed with most manufacturers. is this size available? if so by which manufacturer?

Nope. Nothing available officially. If it is possible, you will have to get those Nankangs,Neuton or whatever.... Stick ti 185/60 R14. Even that is overkill, but 195/55 R14 is uber overkill.

thank you nikhil. i wanted to go for the maximum width possible. i could go for 195/50 r15, but then the ride quality would suffer more and i'll have to be a little more careful as to not bent the wheel. 195/55 r14 is allright but it's not available.

You get A drives, ES 100s, GIIIs, ER 60s, XM1+, BFG Gforce Sport and Conti CPC 1 and CPC2 in 195/60 R14.

My suggestion is this: For comfort, ge the XM1+ in 185/65 R14. For grip and handling in wet and dry, get the CPC2 in 195/60 R14.
