Thanks vid -
Tyre - Stock - Appolo Accellere - 155/70 R13
Wheel - 13x4.5J ....?

It all started when people asked me like "why did you by SPARK, its a women's car.(????)....". When observed I found that most of the red SPARKs are driven by women!!!!:-)))). Isnt it funny...?
So just thought of changing the external looks by putting alloy wheels, dark sunfilm, bumper protector and new IND design number plates. Did some changes in the interior too. Now I have a STEBEL MAGNUM TM80 to compliment the look :-))))))

Now I am waiting for my TBHP stickers to arrive

Note from the Team-BHP Support Team : Please take the time to use proper punctuation as per Team-BHP rules. Avoid...typing...like...this. Thanks.

Alloys are 13x5.5j. Not 4.5j.

@abhi1309 - are you going for the same size or 14?
Latheesh, We went in the morning but the wheels had not arrived by then, the cyclonic weather is to blame. He asked us to come by evening. We are not changing the diameter but the tires were upsized/changed the very first day to Yokohama 175's. I should be able to upload pics hopefully by tomorrow. But it is all rainy here and two cars got damaged outside our office because tree's fell over them, one Indica was totalled and another tree fell on an SRV which was fairly new. Other vehicles got minor dents.

Anyway I'll post other wheel details on my next post.

Thinking about it!! May be after my ICE upgrade

These alloys looks really cool on red Spark. I parked the car on Indira Nagar 100ft road yesterday and was chatting with my friend who work in a store. Saw atleast 10 people checking my Sparky wheels closely, do not know what's their intentions :-))))

New alloys for my Sparky - Need suggestions

After using the current set of alloys on my Spark for 2 years , i'm planning to gift her new alloys and tyres on her 2nd birthday

The ride has done 46 k kms and the tyres apollo aceller have worn out enough to be considered for a change, im also planning to change the alloys to give the car a frsh new look. There are 2 criterias -

1) I want to go for the stock tyres 155/70 R13 - Currently i have 165/70 R13 which give me problems as they scrape the rear tyre arch

2) The alloys need to be pick and bolt with no alterations needed - I had to get the HR alloys altered in order to fix them.

Please give me suggestions/sites/ where i can go and see which alloys would look good on my ride.

Also one of the primary reason why i want to get the alloys changed is because of my belief that my car is returning a mileage of only about 12-13 kmpl because of this current arrangement.

Here are the alloys that i currently have..i really love them but want to part with them only because of the above mentioned reasons. Please help!!!

Hey Latheesh,

Really nice alloys Was quite impressed ! Now I need some really serious help from you. I've a Blazing Red Spark toooo. Its with stock tires right now and I need to upgrade

My budget is around 15k and I have no clue about the brands available, price, the technical stuff.... All I know is that I need to upgrade and the alloys should be BLACK.

2 reasons for opting Black:

1. Looks awesome on the car
2. With all that black dust coming out from the Dics's from the front tires, a silver/white alloy will become dirty almost immediately. Hence Black.

I stay in Bangalore. Please suggest me something within 15k.

Regards,
Anant.

anantu please check with various brands and only then take the plunge. Brands like EVO, Lenso, K-speed etc have quite a few designs which would be of interest to you.

I would say you personally visit shops take a look at what they have to offer and then put your money on the alloys.

Thanks for the suggestion rjstyles69. The problem is I have no clue about the brands. No idea from where to start. I am scared I'll be taken for a ride if I visit them without any knowledge about the alloys(Very common in JC Road).

I'm planning to use my stock tires i.e., Tubeless 155/70 R13.
Stock wheels are 13 X 4.5J Steel. What does this 4.5J signify? Will it affect the car in anyway if it is upgraded to 5J or 5.5J(I read about these in the thread).

I'm sorry I might have asked some stupid questions here, but honestly I have no clue!

Regards,
Anant

Nice looking spark there latheesh. I own one too...had few questions if you could clarify.

1. What is the maxiumum upsize for spark ?

2. What is 13 X 4.5J ? Is that PCD you are talking about. If yes, what does it do and what happens when you increase / decrease the size
