Another alternative is to stick with the optional alloy wheel offered by Tata. Does anybody know the price of these?

Hey mate, in mumbai the cost of TATA alloys is 5K a piece + 200 rs a piece for installation,thats 5.2 K a tyreX 4= 20,800 + 5.2k for spare if at all you decide to go for a spare so thats 26,000 Rs.

If you ask my opinion, TATA alloys suit the Manza really well.

Thanks for this info. I may look into the Manza OE alloys, provided the dealer is open to some discounts on the accessories (Since none were available on the car).

Seriously thinking of these Hijoin H429's for my Manza. Need to decide between Hyper Silver and Machined Black.

So is the picture of H429 above hyper silver or machined black? Saimag did not make it very clear on their site and I do see silver spokes!

Its actually British English so you might do well to invest in a good dictionary! Here's the official meaning of the word:

Ajdective: Naff
Usage: Brit

Machined Black. Machined refers to the silver part of the spokes while the Black is obviously the black paint on the rest of the wheel.

Go for hyper silver if your car colour is not red. Black wheels looks good on red car, my sparky is the best example.

Congrats! Great decision on Manza! Regarding the large tyres, considering OEM alloys would be better. Wider tyres might project outwards. Secondly, if you want to upsize the radius, the Speedo/Tacho indication will change. Ensure to consult Tata Motors regarding warranty. The dealer might buy back the old rims/wheels also. Have a great deal.

What is the correct size to go for in 16" ?

I'm getting my dew white Manza in a couple of days' time. The folks at KHT motors weren't exactly confidence inspiring when it came to talking about alloy wheels, and didn't even have photos of the standard Tata alloys.

To answer the previous question, if one must upsize the wheels:
Current specs - 185 60 R15
New specs - 205 55 R16 (from the calculation at Car Bibles : The Wheel and Tyre Bible Page 3 of 4)

Has anyone tried this? Is this recommended?

I'm scared the bigger tire might touch the body whole driving on the Bangalore moonscape.

Hey guys please help me out.
I am buying a Manza QJet soon. I would like to get alloys for the same but not to exchange the tyres.I would like to continue with the same tyres that comes as stock. Please inform me whether i can exchange the rims with the dealer, if possible what would be the price that i can get for the stock rims.
Also say if i had to upgrade to new tyres will the dealers pay good price for the stock ones

It is always better not to sell the rims to the dealer. I was offered Rs. 400/rim. This will be a huge loss. Instead, it is best to sell it outside.

Rs.400 per rim is a good exchange price. I was offered only Rs.150/- or Rs.14 per Kg. I had enquired in many shops in JC Road.Finally decided to settle with stock rims instead planned for the olloy wheel upgrade sometime later.

If any of you guys have fitted alloy shoes on your Manza, pls do share the pics. Have shortlisted the 195/60/ R15 tires and machined black HRS alloys. Not sure if i looks that great on my Monarch Red ride. Request your opinion.
