which size will be suitable for the santro ... i got confused seeing neo wheels site ... as he shows 3 sizes for santro .. they r

13" * 5.5", 13" * 5" , 14" * 6" and 14" * 6"+

help me in this as am not so well versed in this matter
13x 5j will also serve u well unless u go for tyres more than width of 175....

You may have a fouling problem, either with the wheel arch or with the suspension components, if you go for 5.5J. Be sure to check with other people who have fitted 5.5J to know what problems, if any, were encountered, and the technical specs of the wheel (offset, etc.). Otherwise 5J is a safe choice and both Neo and Aura should have many options; you could go by Samurai's experience and choose a wheel with similar specs.

Can I put these on my Santro ? Bridgestone - 175/70R13 82S , these are from my Accent . I wish to put new alloys & tyres on my accent and would hate to throw these away. also my santro does need a replacement coz its done 45k

The correct upsize for Santro is 175/60 R13. 175/70 will give you poor handling, speedo errors, and increase your ride height, possibly affecting the suspension life. I wouldn't recommend it. But if someone has had experience with these tyres on Santro, he would be the best person to respond to your query.

i've been using 165/65 R13 tubeless Goodyear Eagles for close to 2 years. They still look and work awesome. 175/60 would have a slightly harsh ride quality, but would grip better.
but, with a santro i dunno if you'll need more grip than what a 165/65 provides . car handles great, even above 150. IMHO, and from personal experience, i'd recommend these.
in summary:
165/65: great grip, good ride quality
175/60: even better grip, but harsh ride
take your pick

You are absolutely right. I would go for the 165/65 if I needed an upsize. My post was wrongly worded -- I meant that 175/70 is the wrong upsize, because the profile is high by 10%. Thanks for pointing this out.

vkochar Hi, How much did these cost you ? I plan to put the same on my Xing ?
I paid 2300 per tyre a month back, inclusive of wheel balancing.

hey guys finally i sold my alloys as they were not of the correct offset and got new ones (correct offset) for my xing.
after i got rid of my old alloys Me , aZa and another friend of mine went to karol bagh on friday to get new alloys for my ride (car was on stock rims)
,did`nt waste ANY time in choosing the design this time ,went to a shop liked a design and voila after an hour or so we were back on our way home.
paid 9k for a set of 4 alloys (Plati).

today upsized the tyres to 165/65r13 ( Bridgestone Turanza ER60 ) as everyone has mentioned in this thread that this is the BEST upsize for a santro and i couldnt agree more.!
the ride/handling is MUCH better now compared to the stock tyres.

will post the pics in a day or two.

cheers

Don't think so man. Ishan & zenx are currently in complex rate of labour negotiations about his permanent installation in zenx's trunk. He has no time for silly one off deals like this.

If it goes through, then he won't even be able to come to Lasciviousasa.

Please do not disturb the boy.
