Rajiv even i am planning to buy the Neo Dozen model.Kindly let me know the cost of the alloys

Hi,

haven't got the actual invoice yet, it will be close to 16K.

I know its a tough expensive when compared to imported, i was offered league @ 14K and Plati @ 13K but I refused.

A539 doesn't come in 165/65-13.. Its available in 175/60-13

@ kpzen & iraghava - for a non PS santro running on 155/70R13 now, what might be the issues faced while putting new tyres of the size 175/60R13. i am aware the correct upsize would be 165/65 R13, but for the wider upsize (175/60 R13) i know that there will be a slight compromise in ride comfort and a tighter steering can be expected. any other major problems?

I don't think there would be any major problems. But, 175 should be run on alloys, stock rims are not wide enough for that size & make sure you get the offset of the rims right so it doesn't rub with the arches.

@iraghava- i think you did not see the part that it is a non PS santro. I am already running on 5.5 J rims. Will the steering become extremely stiff to drive?thanks a lot in advance

@knownstranger: Still waiting for the Neo Wheels 13" dozen to arrive from Mumbai, expecting to get it this week.

After great difficulty was able to find yokohama A539's in chennai. Got them fixed yesterday (175/60/R13). Will post before and after pics soon. The ride is completely different. Maybe because i was running on stock tyres.
